QI Momentum Helping To Reduce Cardiovascular Death Rates
We are very proud to be partnering with Orbital Global and be a force multiplier in the development and release of transformational AI systems that will provide huge benefits to the health care industry. Orbital Media is a pioneer artificial intelligence (AI) company based in Suffolk who are driving the development of new personalised AI health care systems with the aim of reducing death rates for the world’s biggest killer – heart disease.
A group of 33 organisations have formed with Orbital Global at the centre to form a Horizon Europe research consortium which aims to individualise care to heart patients.
The four-year iCARE4CVD project – led by Novo Nordisk and Maastricht University – will involve the organisations working together to optimise heart patient care. The whole approach being chosen is to look at early diagnosis and classifications, the urgency of the cases and predicting individuals’ responses to treatment.
Orbital Global will be harnessing its digital know-how and its own patented AI technology – called Virturi – to help patients to understand critical healthcare information. We are proud to be involved in the delivery of project /programme management maturity into this important development. It’s our hope to see this extended into the change and transformational management area as this important system is deployed to organisations such as the NHS.
We want to see this new application help better treat the 620 million people worldwide with Cardiovascular diseases. Its VirTuri’s vision which we completely concur with to better understand patient needs at the individual level and configure tailored treatments in real time for them, ultimately saving lives. We are very excited about being part of something that’s ultimate aim is to reduce Cardiovascular related deaths.
